Are businesses allowed to fire straight employees, is that barbaric as well?
You cannot protect only certain people from discrimination without disenfranchising others. If my boss decides he does not like me he can make up any reason he wants and there’s nothing I can do about it because it is employment at will. I could go in tomorrow and get laid off and then hear co-worker gossip that management just didn’t like my personality and I have no recourse. But just because a person has sex with their own gender they will be able to act as annoying as they want and will know that because of who they freaking sleep next to the courts will give them their job back if they sue.
Before you know it, gays will be the protected and priviledged class. We all know how well that has worked out with other demographics.
