You need to wake up and recognize that our military are using unprepared surfaces there.

Getting testy are we? What type airplanes are our military operating from unprepared bush strips in the Paki mountains? A 777 is not an Osprey, helo, C-130, or C-17.

The difficulties are in your imagination.

Perhaps I haven't watched enough James Bond movies to be capable of imagining a 777 landing on some bush strip in the Hindu-Kush, being surrounded by tribesmen who quickly cover it with a camo tarp (A true SPECTRE operation would have a purpose built cave to hide the plane in), deplane the passengers, service and fuel the plane.

Perhaps you fail to realize that the terrain there is substantially similar to Edwards AFB.

It’s not “Bush”

Why don’t you go help the Chinese dump the old aircraft debris in the Indian ocean so it can be “found.”
