It's actually worse. If she were smarter about this, she would've been an escort. Sure, she'd still be screwing for money but she would've made a lot more of it, remained relatively anonymous, spared her loving parents the public shame and embarrasment they're now enduring and not diminished the earning potential that a degree from Duke brings. And when she decided to quit the business, there wouldn't photographic evidence of what she had done.
I have little doubt that 5 or 10 years down the road, this young woman is going to profusely regret her willful decision to star in porn films. These movies will never go away. They are forever.
Had she picked up a copy of the recent best-selling book Super Freakonomics she would've learned how to earn about six figures a year working as an escort.
