The DOE must approve LNG applications, and it sits on them. Furthermore, U.S. industries that use NG are lobbying our government to not repeal the law that requires DOE review.

No company in its sane mind would construct a LNG plant under these circumstances. (Although I hear one company is trying, in Texas).
