You have to acknowledge though that the Dems are very good at closing ranks. Pelosi and Wasserman-Schultz, as examples, will never admit any wrongdoing by a Dem. If a Dem was caught with lighter fluid and matches next to a forest fire, both of them would say that the forest fire was the consequence of global warming and an anti-environmental stance of the evil Republicans.
