The Department of Health and Human Services is expected to spend over one trillion dollars in 2015 but HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius has never once testified before the Senates Budget Committee on either Obamacares costs or the presidents budget at large.
The Department of Health and Human Services is projected to spend over $1 trillion in FY2015 under the presidents budget, and health care costs which today comprise nearly 30 percent of all federal spending are growing more rapidly than other areas of the budget, especially over the long-term. It would be good for members of the Committee to discuss these matters with Secretary Sebelius, Alabama Republican Sen. Jeff Sessions said on Monday, according to The Hill.
Sessions, a ranking member on the Budget Committee, has stridently criticized President Barack Obamas health-care law and the high costs it imposes on Americans. Back in 2012, Sessions blasted a $17 trillion funding gap that came to light during a grilling session between Supreme Court justices and the laws supporters. Long-term promises written into the law will squeeze $17 trillion out of taxpayers not counting the existing shortfalls from Medicare, Medicaid and Social Security spending, which brings the total to an eye-popping $99 trillion.
The U.S. produces only $15 trillion worth of goods and services each year.

Gee, I wonder why this isn't on the front page of every newspaper in the country. Somebody trying to hide something? Like a trillion pound GORILLA?
It's no mystery why government is the cause of skyrocketing heath care costs and other economy-busting, poverty-producing programs with otherwise productive dollars going into a trillion-dollar black hole. Not to mention the dizzying onslaught of myriads of regulations taking us further into an economic black hole. We had no real healthcare cost problems before government started meddling in healthcare in the 1970's. As Reagan used to say, government is not the solution, government IS the problem. Government continues to do what it does best: PRODUCE POVERTY.
Replace Obamacare and the myriad of other wasteful government programs with the market economy free of government interference. Vote for those who understand that replacing Obamacare with another government program is like rearranging the chairs on the Titanic. Vote for those who want to nuke the HHS and cut government and taxes down to a small size and replace it with the free market economy letting do what it does best: PRODUCE WEALTH.
Vote all RATs and RINOs OUT in NOVEMBER!!! Find candidates with spine, guts, and cajones.
Collapse the system, cloward and piven, house of cards will fall. Deliberatley set while our so called protectors are busy doing nothing
This would make her the most expensive cabinet member that has ever been seated.
How much of that 1 trillion will be spent on Ammo and guns?
Top Cancer Centers Off-Limits Under Obamacare
Some of America’s best cancer hospitals are off-limits to many of the people now signing up for coverage under the nation’s new health care program.
Doctors and administrators say they’re concerned. So are some state insurance regulators. An Associated Press survey found examples coast to coast.
AP Excerpted. Go to the link to identify the top cancer treatment hospitals not covered.

The current perpetrated healthcare scheme forced upon the public, has absolutely nothing to do with any one in our government having genuine compassion for the general public, as they couldnt care less what happens to either you or me, but has everything to do with more and more governmental control and keeping the party originating this scheme in perpetual control.
It is rather similar to the scheme when the government filed a lawsuit against the tobacco companies and started to collect fines in the billions of Dollars, pretending all the money was to be used to wean off smokers from the dangers of tobacco products. Perhaps a small portion of the monies collected was actually used for the prevention of smoking the rest was weaseled away as usual for all kinds of useless social engineering projects and indirectly line the pockets of some of our outstanding politicians and once again most of the public bought it falling for it hook line and sinker.
Once again the same is taking place under the guise of so called Global Warming and after some reasonable thinking scientists as well as people debunked this myth the whole idea took a nose dive. Since Global Warming no longer did fly all of a sudden the whole scheme was changed to Climate Change, what of course is nothing but a farce, as if you wait long enough the climate will eventually always change.
All one has to do is to look at Greenland which as the name implies at some time ago was pretty green and now is covered with ice. Given enough time it will be green again and then all the Algores in this world will once again scream their heads of proclaiming it to be global warming or climate change and some likeminded socialist brethren from the Scandinavian countryside will rush to their aid and present them with a Nobel Price for nothing more then providing different governments with the tools to once again screw the ignorant public which in their ignorance invariably falls for those hare brain ideas.
Will society ever learn, I have my grave doubts?
As usual, NBC puts the blame on the insurance companies for this.
Health care costs: the real problem that’s been growing for decades. In the near future, 25 bucks and a bottle of whiskey might be enough to pay an unlicensed doctor to fix one of us up.
“As usual, NBC puts the blame on the insurance companies for this.”
Then Fox News, Tea Party members, plain vanilla republicans and doctors trying to stay financially afloat.
Good post. The most lucid and articulate understanding and analysis of this that I've heard was from Milton Friedman. I loved that guy. To his stunned interviewer, Milton calmly explained that the history of mankind is one of pain and misery under the iron boot of tyranny. There have been only a few short ages where people were allowed to be free and societies thrived. One of those was America, especially in the 1800's.
Friedman addresses why man tends towards tyranny instead of freedom. He talks about results versus intentions and the coercion of the state versus voluntary cooperation of the free market. How it's easier to impose well-intended regulations & laws than to remove them. How it is easier to see government and laws as the answer for everything versus the difficulty of seeing something called "the free market economy" and waiting for free market solutions. How government has press corps and loudspeakers versus the free market which has no press corps or loudspeakers.

Any left in your bottle over there? Think I need a drink.
If I had a bottle, it would be reserved for a strung-out doctor. I’m too cheap to drink any of that stuff myself. ;-)
Someone...anyone...send these degenerate, irresponsible, criminal, anti-Free-America commies to a prison.
