It does sound, though, like if they can get the minimum wage jacked up to that over $10 mark, this coupled with that could create the price inflation so desperately needed by our government to monetize the debt.

You were obviously paying attention five years ago when the Treasury started printing $10 "yellowboys" as if there were no tomorrow, in amounts that beggared common sense.

Hmmm, I'm going to nominate your post as "clever insight of the week" .... and nominate you as Too Smart to Live. The Comrades will be around to see you very shortly.

Purt' close to Galt time, think?

The guitar player in my band just ordered $4,000 worth if solar panels at .$61 a watt. I believe I’m going to be doing the same thing. It’s the one thing I’ve been putting off way too long. Just as it was hard, in a world of $1.85 gas to imagine we would just accept $3.50 gas as normal. I think our world of $200 a month (or whatever yours is) power bills will become as distant a memory as $1.85 gas. Or maybe even $.85 gas.

When you see this world from that future view, certain items look too cheap to pass up.

BTW, my guitar player is an electrician who specializes in solar installations. Definitely a good friend to have in modern times. :-)
