You are correct, sir! The Obama administration includes those caught and turned back in the act of illegal border crossings as "deported". . .this is how they inflate the number.

Up until the recent past, only those apprehended and returned after having successfully penetrated our borders and had been living illegally in our nation were counted as having been deported.

I recently discovered the subterfuge Obama employed to claim a faster rate of deportation. The word "rate" is instrumental in understanding Obama's deception.

The "rate" of deportation increased because Obama mandated that illegal immigrants turned back at the border now count as a deportation. Clever isn’t he.
