To: Psalm 144
Carter, IMO, was a patriot in his way and cared about doing right as he saw it. Now, his premises may have been asinine, but there was a core to him. None of that applies to Obama. The Carter years were drab, wretched, shuffling failures. But they looked good compared to this.

That may have been true of him back in the 70's, but after he was beaten by Reagan, an unforgivable slight (he felt) from the American people, he turned into an angry little anti-American/anti-Israeli prune. From 1981 on, there wasn't an insult to be slung at the US that was beneath him.
