Frankly, it appears to me that Sowell fears for his livelihood as a columnist and his former reputation as a valued so-called conservative.

He has invested so much of his literary life being the opposition to Democrat ideals of taking, power enrichment and oppression he doesn’t realize that every little capitulation, every little meaningless Republican ‘win’ is just fodder for crushing the hopes of the real people in America - the Constitutionalists, people who work hard and are taxed even harder, people who are just sick and damned tired of spineless appeasing RINO politicians selling us down the river like a field slave.

As far as I’m concerned he’s just another RINO hell-bent on the second tier status quo. Screw him.

And so the GOP Establishment war on the Tea Party continues. Their war has been ongoing for sometime, they’re just more open about it now.

And the GOPe always tries to say they are “conservative”. Organizations set up by RINOs such as Karl Rove frequently incorporate “Conservative” into their names. They are fooling fewer and fewer people as time goes on and their ACTIONS reveal their true nature.

“Public Service” has been awfully good for Senator McConnell. He’s listed as the 10th wealthiest Senator, despite having never worked a day in the private sector.

At what point do we seriously talk third party? If a rino gets in again, for all I care Hillary can have it. What difference does it make? I'm so tired of those who ask us to work the streets and donate time and money to demean us, cheat us in the primary, lie to us and steal freedoms from us. They don't believe we will go third party. Maybe someone needs to make a grand gesture. Sarah, what do you think? We at least have to put the fear of God in them. I expect the rino rats to show up on FR soon with the primary coming up. I hope I don't get booted because I'm at the end of my rope.

Bingo! He refuses to admit that the GOP establishment is just another arm of the Democrat Party. They have no problem growing the Federal Government and are not opposed to ObamaCare. They had control of the House, Senate and White House from 2001 to 2007. Did they reduce the size and scope of the Federal Government? Nope. Nope. Nope.

So, simply electing Republicans does exactly nothing to turn this country around. Sowell doesn't seem to want to admit that and the lesson is that Tea Party style Republicans need to be elected and having contested primaries does not hurt the chances to win in the general election.
