I’m old enough to remember Ngo Dinh Diem. And keep in mind that we’ve seen the exact same thing before. In 1998 Bill Clinton sent James Carville to Israel to interfere with their elections and make sure Netanyahu was thrown out. How did that work out? Well, none of the three guys who followed Netanyahu as prime minister were very successful at stopping the terrorist menace; that’s why Netanyahu is back now.
