Before the Ukraine crisis, many Ukrainians were interested in building more ties to the West, for example, by joining NATO.
If that had happened, the U.S., as a NATO member, would have been obligated to defend the Ukraine from Russia’s intervention, and World War III would be upon us.
In any case, NATO’s lack of virtually any response to Russia’s recent aggression on its border, means that there’s no reason for any nation at all to join NATO. Under our president’s weak leadership, NATO has proven not to be a defensive organization. In fact, under Obama’s weak leadership, the U.S. is proving not to be a defensive organization either.
So, facing west towards Europe and America, Vladimir Putin must feel like a kid in a candy store. He can take anything he wants, so why shouldn’t we expect him to?
Hard to take Kerry seriously cause he is not quite the Chuck Norris type.
More the Lindsey graham type of sissy boy.,
The red line is behind the yellow one running up his backside. A vietnam traitor is our secretary of state. Looks like we’ve learned our lesson
- John “Irishberg” Kerry - the BS’ing phony strong man - the war lover when others die .
