Between now and the end of 2018, 4.4 million barrels of crude are expected to be produced in North America, said Suzanne Minter, manager of crude and natural gas analysis with Bentek Energy. In 2013, 1.2 million barrels per day (bpd) of crude production was grown; crude production this year will exceed that number, Minter noted.

That looks like roughly 1 million barrels @ day average growth rate for the next four years.

Constrast that to the EIA’s projection that 1 million barrel @ day growth rates will only go through the end of 2016.

(I think the 1 million Barrels @ day expansion has a year or two to go beyond the end of 2017 because current analysts don’t seem to get the scale of the boom coming in the permian basin.)
