Bart Stupak believed what he wanted to believe. He had been in DC long enough by that time to know how the game was played. He wanted to be lied to and Barry was certainly willing enough to do that. Further more, I am so inept that I can be diverted and confused by others in government position that I consider my “betters” and I’ll operate as a political “marionnette” to any incumbent that provides a reasonable argument.
