The first amendment - freedom of speech - is precisely to protect speech that others consider offensive. "Bossy" may be "offensive" to some women, but its use is protected by the first amendment.

I heard about this, but not sure I follow the reasoning.
So, it sounds as if teenage girls don’t go for leadership roles in school, student council, extra curricular activities, because they are afraid of being called bossy.
Is this really true? . And the narrative indicates that this carries over into adulthood.
At a time when record numbers of women have advanced to high positions in every professional field, we’re saying the girls snuff out all ambition in middle and high school, because of the fear of being called bossy????
