Sure they do. Their flash point is just higher then gasoline. Which means it is harder to ignite.
I’ve picked pieces of a jet up off the ground before. I guarantee there was a flash boom when it hit the ground.
Sure. But it took a hell of a lot more than a mere spark to get that boom. That’s my point.
