Whats wrong with just doing what we have always done and ride the slow poke’s butt then flash your lights and generally be obnoxious til they pull over. I have never had a problem with it. :-)

Seriously my main beef with it is that I just hate the mindset of everything should be again’st the law. Thats what this kind of navel lint stuff is. Next thing it will be if you forget to turn on your lights while driving on a cloudy day. Its all just a bunch of BS.

The guy squatting in the fast lane wreaks havoc in traffic flow, and it affects all the lanes, and is extremely dangerous, cops and traffic experts despise it, and drivers as well.

If you get on several of these threads you learn that the guys who do this, mostly do it on purpose, the freeway is where they can assert themselves against the world, assert some authority as they see it, get back at those people who they don’t like.

Letting them know that they can be ticketed for it, will weaken some of their self righteousness.

Thing is, this really is a safety issue, on several levels. There are many things going on regarding the passing lane slowpokes. It causes a lot of problems that really need resolution, especially in cities where traffic is reaching its limit and adding lanes is not easily done. The faster the traffic flows, the more traffic the road can handle.
