Defenders of Obamacare will point to a new Gallup poll showing that the percentage of Americans without health insurance continues to fall -- to 15.9 percent so far in 2014, down from 17.1 percent in the fourth quarter of 2013.
But compare the most recent percentages with those posted by Gallup in 2008, when 14.8 percent of Americans lacked health insurance coverage. In fact, as Gallup has previously reported, "The number of uninsured was generally below 15% in 2008 until it began to increase in November of that year, coincident with the worst of the economic crisis."

Of course it is, 6 million folks who had plans they could keep lost them! And I get a bit of schadenfreude at the Las Vegas union who is complaining that Obamacare is going to reduce their wages and health care insurance/access. They made their political bed, now let them sleep in it.
not to mention those like my husband and I who had excellent coverage until his union work dried up and disappeared since mid 2009...the age of Obama. ANY union member that voted for Obozo: THANKS A HEAP!
At least they are talking health care insurance and not health care. The LIVs confuse the two. EVERYONE had healthcare, just not insurance. Most Libs, when confronted with this FACT, will usually say ‘ but they have to wait so long in the ER for treatment’. So I would always say ‘so your real problem is they may have to wait a few hours for free healthcare?’. The FACT is , now many who are signing up will be getting Medicaid when they previously were paying for their own insurance. Is there any doubt that Obama is trying to bankrupt our once great country?
How long till Nutzi Pelosi is before the cameras, touting this as a huge win for OblamaCare.
Repeat after me: health insurance does not equal healthcare. Going forward, the latter is demonstrably worse.
It is racist to bring up inconvenient truths such as this.
In the era of Obama, we are not to blame any bad news on the policies of this administration, or laws passed by Democrats. Some previous president, or outside forces such as weather, must be to blame.

just look at Massachusetts - the ERs are still full.
Obamacare never intended to eliminate the uninsured. DHHS’s own numbers back in 2010 showed at least 20 million still uninsured after full implementation in 2014. How was this sold in the first place other than to attack the problem of the Uninsured - What do you expect from a thieving pack of LIARS who should all be arrested for treason?
I think more and more people are realizing that Obamacare is a disaster.
