No. I think the number of illegals here is probably closer to 20-25 million. Even if they were granted work visas, this does not give them a right to vote.
So... What’s your solution? E-verify and shutting down the welfare tap are good starts. But what is YOUR proposal to get them to go home and which candidate supports your plan?
Take your time. I’ll wait. And yes, I really want to know. I’m not as at ease with Rand’s stance as you are making me out to be.

I've given you my solution several times:
1. Enforce existing laws religiously, INCLUDING, punishing employers.
2. E-Verify all employment in the US.
3. E-Verify all Social Services in the US.
4. No Medical services unless it is immediately life-threatening
5. Illegals pay for the extra services needed to educate their 3rd world children
In essence and reality, you take away all of their freebies, do not allow them to get a job, and they will deport themselves.
As far as candidates go, I'll never support McCain, Rubio, or Rand Paul exactly because they want to lie about their respective plans being a form of Amnesty, which means they do not have the best interest of our nation at heart, but their political self-interest. It also means they are mendacious liars.
Ted Cruz and Sarah Palin are the closest to being correct on the Illegal Alien Issue. I'll stick with two people that are willing to put the well-being of the nation above their own political interests.
Quit being an enabler of Liars Dead Corpse.
