I've seen parts of Stewart's show, and his usual method, like Colbert's, is to find conservatives or Republicans making weird statements or doing weird things (weird at least to liberals), and then poke fun at that conservative's words or actions. One thing I don't believe you'll ever see either Colbert or Stewart do is debate a conservative on the proper role of government. Because I doubt they can.

Jonah Goldberg was on Stewart's show a few years ago discussing his book "Liberal Fascism." According to people who saw the show, Stewart became visibly upset to the point he was almost foaming at the mouth while Goldberg remained calm and collected viewing Stewart with a detached air of amusement. I'm sure Jonah expected as much from Stewart or any lib.
