It’s just wild-assed guess, but I’d bet such is not uncommon on international flights.

Why isn’t a lost passport cancelled (in the system)?

It is quite unusual that there would be no distress call, especially when the plane was cruising at altitude. Because of this, I immediately thought terrorist act. A lot of muzzies in that part of the world.

Hope his family didn’t see the passenger manifest.

Talk about a shock..only to find out he was alive in Italy.

Im surprised that no one has yet taken ..”credit” for the deed, if in fact it was a matter of terrorist mayhem and destruction.

Back when that TWA flight went down in Long Island Sound, it was still in the days when the gov didn't want to worry us about the possibility that it was terrorism by one of those very nice Eygptian pilots.

The question back then was "isn't terrorism even worse if we're not sure what is and is not terrorism"? It's the uncertainty about the inherent safety of things that'll bring us to our knees.

I bring this up because it's the not knowing that's even worse than is having an enemy to blame.

When I turned on the morning news, FoxNews was speaking with aviation expert Scott Hamilton.

Hamilton conjectured, based on available information, that ‘some criminal action’ was probably involved.

Apparently, the plane disappeared from radar after a couple of hours in flight, but continued to fly for some time after contact was lost.

Maybe one of the Muslim pilots decided to off himself....in the name of Allah. Obammy may get NASA on this and order flags at half staff.

Change your headline there, nuconvert.

A SECOND man listed as on board that flight, Austrian Christan Kozel, aged 30, has been confirmed as safe and well by authorities.

He said his passport was stolen when he visited Thailand two years ago, Austrian newspaper De Standard reports.

I first saw this story and thought “Hmmmm”, wondered if a missing “Malaysia-to-Beijing” flight had any connection to the China Kunming railway station ‘terror attack’, came here looking for the post.

Why am I not surprised...

(now confirmed to have crashed)

Here we go. The terrorism angle we will all be talking about tomorrow...unless they cover it up again as they did TWA 800.

Stolen Passport means stolen identity

And who needs a Stolen identity to be on a flight?

Well for one, someone on the no fly list for being a potential terrorist...
