Violence against women 'pandemic' in Mexico

So many teenage girls turned up dead in a vacant field on the outskirts of Mexico City that people nicknamed it the "women's dumping ground."

They began showing up in 2006, usually left among piles of garbage. Some were victims of domestic violence, others of drug gangs that have seized control of entire neighborhoods in the gritty town of Ecatepec, northeast of the capital.

The lot has since been cleared and declared an ecological reserve. But its grisly past is not forgotten and the killings have only accelerated.

Dulce Cristina Payan, 17, was one of the victims. Two years ago, armed men pulled up in a pickup truck and dragged her and her boyfriend away from the porch of her home. He was tossed from the truck within a few blocks but she was taken away and murdered, stabbed repeatedly in the face and stomach.

Must be. I read that in Laredo, TX a few years ago had about 11 murders in the calender year. Nuevo Laredo, just across the border from and approximately the same size as Laredo had 280 something.

Why is it that we want the worst criminals from their country to invade and steal our jobs?

Does it have something to do with the Democrat’s war on women?

We didn’t have enough drunk drivers and child rapists before they came.

Do the Democrats have a quota?
Probably created by Ted Kennedy

Laredo had 8 murders in 2012.

Nuevo Laredo had 288 (at least).

The subtext of this article is that murder of women should be a greater concern than murder of men.

They carefully avoided providing any numbers, but I expect the number of men killed is a multiple of the number of women.

........the ONLY thing standing between this same phenom here in Texas and our citizens is the Second Amendment!

I could put thirty rounds in Pablo before he got 30 feet with my daughter. The dirt poor Mexican citizenry don’t have a Second Ammendment! Same old story, only the bad guys have guns in Mexico.

And, after the 2nd, you have to have the FIRST, which is the balls to pull the trigger on a moments notice if necessary.
