Really, why do you say that?

• The Congress certainly needs restrained from incurring debt unhindered, anything less is assent to their selling us and our decedents into de facto slavery as the debt is guaranteed against [future] taxes, which we cannot refuse (besides that, the USSC could easily hold that, being incurred by our Representatives, such slavery is voluntary).
• How would altering the [income] tax to be a flat rate, which is capped, and asserting that the government cannot seize wealth until after a jury trial be a recipe for Chaos?
• How would denying the current [unlimited] holding of the commerce clause as implying intrastate commerce may be regulated inviting Chaos?

Let’s just take one of those. The Commerce Clause is why we have a nationwide free trade zone. It used to work until FDR manipulated the SCOTUS. Look up Lochner Era.

What we want is a vigorous Commerce Clause as it comes to restraint of trade by government via permitting, licensing and regulation. All those are restraint of trade issues at the state, county and local level.

The Court’s rulings on the Commerce Clause are a Progressive abuse of individual liberty. The Constitution worked and worked well until the 16th, 17th, 18th and 19th Amendments. You won’t get rid of the 16th or the 19th. 18th is already undone, just undo the 17th and let nature take her course. The last time FedGov respected the Constitution was the 18th. Now they do what they want.

Fixing the problem has more to do with government school education/propaganda and the media, than with the Constitution.
