Hearing are just for facetime. Take her and the issue to court and try the case.

Obama could select her as a Special Peace Keeper Envoy to the Ukraine. ;-)

Thanks for posting that link. There appears to be a wealth of information available there. I’ve saved it to a separate file so I can reference and study it later.

Lets boil this down to a few words. Nothing is going to get Lerner to testify and King Obama will make sure of that. There will be no contempt. All this is simple minded BS unless we get the Presidency, Senate and House. Then do some kick ass with the Supreme Court. Currently the communists are so far ahead of us we will never catch up.

Bonehead fails us on this one and Trey will be breathing down his neck. I’m looking forward to that, I love Gowdy.

You know what they say desperate times call for, right?

If you're John Boehner, they call for capitulation.

What’s with this determination that she waived her 5th amendment rights? Has a court determined that?

I agree, the same should have been done with that B!tch Clinton when she said “What difference does it make”. She and the muzzie in chief allowed those men to die!

....

Don’t know, but if you ask her, she’ll say;

“On the advice of my counsel I respectfully exercise my Fifth Amendment right and decline to answer that question,”

Along those lines I had a thought this morning. If the idea is to get her talking, how about this? Call her back in front of the Committee and grant her immunity for any crimes committed after her resignation which are associated with her previous employment with the IRS. Then pepper her with questions about any communications she might have had with any representative or member of the administration since her resignation. This could establish that a conspiracy, probably criminal, involving the White House is on-going. Rattle the cage big time and see what develops. If Lerner admits that such communications are taking place, the Obama Administration at least has a political mess to clean up and possibly a criminal one.

This proposal would compel her to testify because she can't plead the 5th when she is granted immunity for those crimes. If she does, the SOA arrests her. This proposal should compel her to testify truthfully because immunity wouldn't cover perjury in these hearings. Finally, Lerner would still be subject to prosecution on the original crimes, which could be used later as leverage to compel her to testify later on the original crimes.

Get Lerner to a position where she cannot say no to testifying and then spring the big one: "Did anyone from the administration offer you a pardon or discuss that matter with you?" If she says YES, then all heck breaks loose for the Obama Administration and they are immediately on the defense. Why even discuss a pardon with her if no "smidgens" of crime are involved?

"Will Lois Lerner be held in contempt of Congress? If so, will she go to jail?"

Contempt of Congress seems to be slightly less worrisome than having a note sent home to your mother. My guess is Obama has promised her plenty of cash to take the hit and stay quiet along with a guarantee that he will keep her out of the slammer and grant a pardon before he leaves office. "... And since then the president has done nothing to avenge Chris Stevens death. This is a terrible lesson for our adversaries to learn: that under Barack Obama you can murder his personal representative and get away scot-free.
