If they get rid of the filibuster for legislation, amnesty will definitely pass in 2015.

The Senate already passed amnesty. The house is where it is bottled up. For now.

Amnesty, i.e., the Gang of 8 bill, already passed the Senate with 14 Reps voting with the Dems. The Senate passed amnesty (Hagel-Martinez) in 2006 and 2013. It will pass an amnesty regardless of filibuster or not.

If we get rid of the filibuster for all bills, not just appointments, we might have a chance to pass an enforcement bill and the repeal of Obamacare if we could get control of the Senate and the WH.

“The prospect of returning the threshold for breaking filibusters on nominees to 60 votes from the simple majority established by the Democrats “

You did not read the article did you ?

McConnell wants to allow fillibuster of appointees changed from needing 51 to confirm to 60 to confirm.
