Jewish Self-Respect Mandated that Ramaz Not Promote Israel Hater

Rashid Khaledi and the Ramaz School have together taught us something very important – if only we would listen: There are no two sides to some questions.

Khaledi is the tweed-coat wearing proponent of Palestinian “resistance” against Israel, by which he means the murder of civilian Jews who live there or advocate the position that Jews are entitled to live in Israel, including Yehuda and Shomron, as a sovereign, Jewish nation.

So....if we had “American Self Respect”, we would not have promoted an America Hater?

His argument did not evidence just one flaw, but several.

The greatest of these is not just the fairness by which Israel treats hateful mass murderers, but by their extension of charity and compassion to those who give neither in return.

In context, such murderers are no different than rabid dogs. They cannot be cured of their rabies. They will not profit from gentleness and caring in confinement. To put them down is not only appropriate, but stops the spread of their disease. Even burying them in the soil is unwise. In the case of rabid dogs, quicklime is more appropriate to staunch the disease. Murderous Muslims deserve burial in pig offal. And this too might help with their disease.

But back to the original point: does the rabid dog have a valid argument? Should their overwhelming desire to bite others and spread their disease be treated with the same regard as the desire of others to not be bitten?

Well, yes, exactly. If the voters of this country were proud of this country they would not have anointed as its leader someone who thinks American exceptionalism is no more valid than Greek exceptionalism, or who thinks that the most beautiful sound in the world is the muezin’s call to prayer. Do you disagree?
