I’ve been gold prospecting in the Lolo Pass area the past two summers. Haven’t seen any elk or any sign of them. The people who live there are really suffering - no meat for their families and no hunters spending money on elk hunts.

As soon as the sainted wolves wipe out their wild prey they start going after domestic animals and people. That’s the reason they were wiped out 100 years ago. I’d like to meet the moron who thought it would be a good idea to bring them back. He wouldn’t like meeting me.

Boom and Bust, the true balance of nature when wolves are involved. Once the wolves work the ungulates down to 10% of what the land could support, then the wolves starve, eat each other too. Trouble is the land stagnates, elk & moose are non-existent, people have to stop hunting the area.

I hunted that area, maybe 50-60 miles outta Missoulla 25-30 years back, we always killed Elk. I hear there ain't one to be found today.

Yes and not to mention the wolves that have been re-introduced are huge Canadian timberwolves which were not indigenous to Idaho in the first place.
