I saw the miniseries last year. Why?
I wonder what Jesus Christ thinks of the movie.

I think it’s amazing that you’re commenting so vociferously about a movie without even seeing it.
Yes, I saw the miniseries, the reels of which (if they still use film reels in Hollywood) hold the same film as those used to project the movie you speak of.
In other words, I saw it last June.
If someone wants to make a movie about a Jesus Christ who is other than the Jesus Christ of the Bible, what is it that restrains them from announcing this in a straightforward manner?
Why does it seem the movie maker is attempting to portray this fabricated, false Christ as though he were the real one?
Please, oh learned one </ s>, explain to me exactly how “this Jesus” has been portrayed as a false Jesus.
I apologize to you if my words bring you anger or strife, and for any hurt you feel in our discussion. Truly, I’m somewhat socially inept and as a result the dryness of my comments might seem harsh or condescending. I don’t mean for this to happen.

If you’re still interested, here’s my view: the Son was sent to glorify the Father, and to atone for the sins of mankind through his blood on the cross. Any portrayal of Jesus must include these and other major attributes of him, otherwise the portrayal is false.
To put it in perspective, would be sort of like writing a biography of Mother Theresa and leaving out any mention of her Roman Catholic background, and totally excluding her work with the sick and the poor.
