The internal combustion engine, and the Kennedys, have never played well together..

OK — I thought you might be one of those people who live in a snow/ice free zone who have no clue as to the impact of freezing and thawing and winter maintenance on the roadways. With that said, in my opinion, NYC roads seem to fall apart faster than other roads in the northeast because (a) union labor is used to build and maintain the roads; (b) inferior materials due to corruption and incompetence; (c) volume; and (c) freeze-thaw cycles, which are worse in NYC where the temperature in the winter regularly goes above freezing during the day and below at night (as compared to Albany where the temperature remains below freezing for days and weeks at a time.

I read a book the other day, called Haunted Vineyard. One of the stories in the book was about Ted Kennedy and the Mary Jo Kopechne story.

I did a little delving into the net to read the real (not a ghost) story.

I never knew the real story. Ted got away with at the very least leaving the woman to die in the car, which she was alive for about 2 hours before she suffocated or drowned. He evidently went back to his hotel at this time and went to sleep.

He claimed to have dove and dove to save her life. He went back to the party house and three of them dove and dove to save her life. All any of the three had to do was call the police. She could’ve been saved.

She was the only daughter of the Kopechne’s.

Really tragic.

if i recall she admitted she did it on the stand something about taking anbien and not allowing for the afteraffects. me thinks this jury’s combined IQ would not reach triple digits though their bank accounts may have interesting deposits

The halo fell off many Kennedy heads a long time ago.

She’s just the latest one

Guilty by birth.

Redeemed at death.

But what a life between..

That she can remember anyway.

Accident by accident,, damn, (smacks forehead)

That’s worth a new Luxury car as a bonus to any defense attorney that came up with that one.

Kerry Kennedy was last seen piloting a private airplane away from the courthouse.

Some individuals have protective coloration. Others have protective connections. She has a protective surname.
