It looks to me like Ukranians and Egyptians care a whole lot more about their country that us fat and lazt Americans do. As long as everyone can get a flat screen tv and a smartphone eveeryone’s happy!

Humans have evolved to be relatively satisfied if they have food, shelter and company. They won't do anything too risky if they feel secure in these things.

I don't know about Egypt. But in Ukraine, my country, many people are nearly starving and freezing. Especially in cities/suburbs where you can't grow food or burn wood. Moving is usually too expensive for most people.

Land/shelter costs almost nothing there but everything else is just as expensive as in the USA. For example, a family might earn $200/month and that is only enough to eat mostly potatoes and heat their home to 55 degrees. One parent loses a job and that family is suddenly starving and cold. They have no option but to take to the streets.

When the majority of people are as cold and hungry in the USA, the same will happen here.
