Less than half the public support a sharp boost in the minimum wage when told that it could cost the economy half a million jobs, according to the latest IBD/TIPP Poll out Thursday.
That comes amid reports that some Senate Democrats are backing away from President Obama´s push to boost the minimum wage by 39% over the next two years, to $10.10 an hour, after the Congressional Budget Office found that it would kill 500,000 jobs.
Unlike other surveys, the IBD/TIPP Poll asked two questions about the minimum wage.

Well, so much for that Obama Admin policy initiative that was going to energize the voters and lower classes to come out in waves for Dems this Fall.
Lasted all of about a week.
Want to raise the minimum wage? Increase the pay of most of the military under the grade of E-4. They make less than minimum wage and are risking their lives to do so.
WIll the great leader address this?
Will he recant on his claims of a new minimum wage creating new jobs.
will he instead avoid these numbers like the plague?

Yes. He will blame the GOP in Congress. Media will repeat it to the masses. The masses will buy it. Rinse and repeat.

Excellent, I can remember many years ago being an E5 with a wife and daughter and being qualified for welfare, I wouldn’t take it.
