Stovall got my early vote. But either he or Stockman would be better than our current senior Senator.

Thank you both for your replies!

I’ll be looking at the FR posts this evening. Based on what I read on FR, I think I would have voted for Stovall, too — seems like a good guy and a Constituional Conservative (my kind of man); and, from what I’ve read, it appeared that Stockman didn’t do much campaigning around the state.

When Cornyn was first elected I was excited as he was a former judge, seemed conservative, etc. and thought he would do well for us. Unfortunately, it seems he drank the GOPe Kool-Aid.

BTW - I’m a bit of a political junkie and am especially interested in Texas, I suppose due to its conservative leaning (yes, I know you have a few Dim reps and mayors - SJL, Castro, etc.) as well as the overall patriotism of most Texans. Perhaps I watch Texas elections a bit vicariously as it’s quite different up here in the Pacific NW (God’s country for beauty, but alas not for our political so called “leaders”). If all of my family didn’t live here, I would seriously consider moving to Texas.

Best of luck today with all of your primaries!

p.s. I’ve adopted Senator Cruz as *my Senator* (hope you don’t mind). I could listen to him for hours (and literally have!). I need something beside my 2 Senators -Maria Can’t Do Well and Patty Osama Mama Murray (voted as dumbest Senator on more than 1 occassion).
