Yup their shtick was the many flavors of bun. Once subway stepped up to the challenge and became competitive in that facet of the business Quiznos had little to justify their higher prices.

Yeah...I think that’s what killed them...all the subs cost about 570 million dollars to buy(sarcasm on.) Seriously, They were really expensive(average 7- 9 dollars) at a time where subway had 5 dollar deals for any sub in the store!

Yep - also have some other good choices. They lost me with the "Toasty" commercial - don't know if it was intended, but my impression was they were alluding to the due in the pickup truck as a homo.
