REDISTRIBUTION OF military equipment to America's police departments. That about sums it up. The cops are unionized, the military isn't. That about sums it up. The cops work for the Commie unions who sleep with our Commie gubmint, the military doesn't.

This is a power shift away from the military, TO our militarized police.

True. But when they try their martial law gambit, they are going to encounter a very large surprise. It took most of the US military to subdue the urban areas of Iraq. Think Los Angeles, New York and Chicago and compare them to that. The US military doesn't have the capability of subduing those areas. And the so called militarized police? They already can't deal with these cities. How about Baltimore? They basically have abandoned areas of these cities because they can't bring order; i.e. subdue the local populace. And we are talking about relatively small numbers of belligerent blacks and Hispanics. Just what are they going to do when *large* numbers of armed belligerent, resistant whites, spread over much larger areas in these greater urban areas, make active resistance?

The civilian goons (liberals) have become overly dependent on the military using high level bombing and reigning destruction down from the air. They can't do that over the vast expanse of America. Or even the large numbers of urban areas.

They are gutting our ability to put men on the ground. Wars can't be won without men on the ground. Large developed countries can't be subdued by air power alone. The US military has never dealt with something on the scale of the United States. There are a lot of gun owning people who are pretty disinterested now in the possible implications of military rule. But when they start seeing friends and neighbors arrested or shot in the streets, a sleeping giant of which the modern world has not seen will be roused.

Does anyone really think that any major city in the US has the police manpower to subdue the entire city? Armored vehicles won't mean much when 10,000 armed citizens revolt. They can't even deal with gangs in small sectors of the city.

No, when the active assault on America's citizens begins, all bets are off. Whatever happens, it certainly won't go as these DHS planners think it will. Liberal eggheads don't win real wars.
