Prayers being said for the families and the entire Chardon community.
I cant think of many things worse than losing a child.
Sad and so true, it is the role of parents to stand between their children and the grave.
So unbelievably sad. Two year anniversary of his son’s death. I will pray for the family.. I can only imagine that the Father went into such a deep state of depression.
The news around here centered around the vigils to be held. But today’s news just brought tears to my eyes. It is as though any healing for the families and the community was broken again.
Nasty business.
None comes to mind.
Fortunately juvenile sociopath Lane is in prison for life and is no longer a threat.
God this is horrible for the family.Prayers.

My daughter died in 2004. I can honestly say it was the hardest thing I have ever been through. Two years later my brother died in May, 2006, my husband in July, 2006 and my mother in January, 2007. It has been 10 years since her death and it seems like yesterday. God is still in control.
It’s a cloud that hangs over you and never goes away. You may have some days that are better than others, but the gnawing darkness is always there. Many don’t understand it, and I hope they never have to.
Been almost 6 years now since my 4 year-old daughter was killed. Her murderer just got out after serving only 5 and a half years of a 10 year plea bargain. The lack of justice just drives the depression further.
People ask me, “How did you survive such a devastating thing?” - my reply is always, “The man I was didn’t.” While I haven’t gone to the lengths that this man has, I know the feeling all too well.
Prayers for you, my FRiend. I am so sorry.
