The IRS is controlling our health, choosing our politicians by hurting the Tea Party, religious groups and other conservative groups, stealing our money, etc..
Some of the IRS bullies should be in jail. The system is broken. Let’s try to fix it.
So without a balanced budget amendment and a 2/3rds majority vote in both house and senate to raise the fair tax rate...the fair tax is dead....plus...progressives will not view it as a progressive tax but a flat 31% tax that affects the poor as much as it affects the rich. How close seriously do you think we are to getting this passed? If you abolish the IRS think of the job loss for all the tax folks not in govt...I like the idea of it but it really seems like way too many hurdles to clear....better odds on burning the IRS building to the ground...IMHO
