The way the law is currently written, all they can do is withhold the money from your refund. If you aren’t due a refund, they can’t do anything.

The way it’s currently writtes is very different than how it’s being implimented. A mere stroke of the pen and the IRS will take your home, bank account or attach your wages. This is a tax. The Supreme court sez so. At some point time the IRS will treat this like all other taxes.

And since only the “Takers” get refunds (due to tax credits etc) , only Obama voters will be hit by this.

The way the law was written means nothing. Obama is the law.

One of the things that I have not read about yet is whether or not failure to pay the “Shared Responsibility Payment” will result in the IRS reporting it to the credit monitoring services.
