(CNN) -- President Yoweri Museveni, who made anti-homosexuality laws in Uganda much tougher Monday, told CNN in an exclusive interview that sexual behavior is a matter of choice and gay people are "disgusting."
After signing the bill that made some homosexual acts punishable by life in prison, Museveni told CNN's Zain Verjee that, in his view, being homosexual is "unnatural" and not a human right.
"They're disgusting. What sort of people are they?" he said. "I never knew what they were doing. I've been told recently that what they do is terrible. Disgusting. But I was ready to ignore that if there was proof that that's how he is born, abnormal. But now the proof is not there."
Museveni had commissioned a group of Ugandan government scientists to study whether homosexuality is "learned," concluding that it is a matter of choice.
"I was regarding it as an inborn problem," he said. "Genetic distortion -- that was my argument. But now our scientists have knocked this one out."

You know there is a big problem as soon as Ugandian scientists are more competent than Western academics.
The Uganda president speaks the truth.
One of the biggest lies ever told is the claim that homosexual behavior is inborn. Only a higher degree from a politically “correct” academic institution can warp a mind enough to make someone believe what is counter to common sense and counter to humankind’s observation and experience.
I love it when multiculturalism runs smack into Western liberal morality.
It’s enough to make a leftist’s head explode...
The experts in my world say whatever the cause the temptation should not lead to the action or the results will not be good
And that there is neither knowledge of nor the necessity to know whether its inborn or environmental

It would seem that ‘western academics’ are some of the most brainwashed people on earth.
He sure does. It’s a simple and clear argument. What they do, whether male or female, is NOT normal. It is rather disgusting - and back in the good ole days, we all knew it, including them.
Homosexuals are their own worst enemy.
Doing the job American presidents won’t do.
I have always been fascinated by the fact that when conflicts of this type arise, liberals always seem to behave like a school of fish, all changing course together. No arguments about which of their fetishes to prioritize in a specific case. They all seem to somehow know.
That's as opposed to conservatives, who will argue certain issues forever.
Uganda got it right o this one.
