SLAPP him/her.. poke their eyes.. it’s disinformation.. it’s a BABY..
When my wife miscarried, she told me that her brother said to her, "Sorry about the fetus." It sent a chill down both our spines.
It all depends on context. I'm currently working on software describing fetal development. I'm as pro-life as they come. "Fetal development" in this case is a far more succinct expression than "as yet unborn baby development".
Of course, a fetus is a human being, with the inherit right to life. A baby is a human from conception all the way to the toddler stage. There's overlap there.
Go after disrespect, no matter what words are used.
