Translation:

You cannot bring your drugs into homeless shelters, or they will take them and maybe call the police.

Partially true, but in a homeless shealter everything is fair game. Spend the night and there is a good chance you will leave with rags about your feet because someone stole you shoes. It’s a uncommon occurance on the street and more than once the victim has been killed our savagely beaten if they put up a fight.

Not necessarily. During the ice storm in Toronto (End Dec) a friend of my Mother was told to go to the warming center at Jane and Finch. She refused.
