The same law (the MPPA) says citizens who have a valid permit cannot carry into a courthouse. (but police can)

I hope they both sue each other into bankrupcy.

Are off duty cops allowed to drink beer at games? It seems to me that is reason enough to bar their weapons...

But more importantly, when is the League going to ban usage of the violent & offensive term- "shotgun formation" from their lexicon ;-?

No special treatment should be allowed for them. They should follow the rules just like us.

It is not uncommon for officers to be required to carry their weapons off-duty, as is the case in Cleveland.
There musn't be a lot of dogs in Cleveland!

Every argument mentioned applies to lawful armed citizens as well.

More elitest horse manure; cops are no more empowered by the constitution’s Bill of Rights than are non-policemen.

The uLEO’s just want a way to be able to carry when they take that second job in “security” at the stadium. Follow the money when it comes to unionists.

I don’t go to games for this reason...if the NFL won’t personally guarantee my safety from my car to the stadium and back, or let me check my weapon in at the checkpoint, they can go to hell.

I’m not going to be herded like sheep. I would probably attend every game, too - not that they care.

Bad laws create classes of citizens. That’s un-American.
