You’ve gotta be kidding me! They’re going to play dumb? Republicans/conservatives have been hammering the point that Medicare/Medicaid was going to get cut, but the media wouldn’t report that, and the administration denied it at every turn. They knew, and they boldly and unabashedly lied to the American people.

I hope there is no way they can escape their responsibility for this mess.

lol

the cuts to medicare were ALL the tea party rallies wanted to talk about !!!

In fact I actually lost a lot of interest in the Tea Party after attending several rallies once I realized most of the people there were just made about the cuts to medicare!

For a Democrat or ANYONE to claim they didn't know there were cuts to medicare in Obamacare is a flat out lie.

Republicans/conservatives have been hammering the point that Medicare/Medicaid was going to get cut...

And they should keep on hammering. For a change, the Repubs have the chance to turn Medicare/Medicaid cuts on the Democrats with a simple political ad: Scene of an Obama look-a-like pushing granny in a wheelchair out of her house and into the street. Voice-over states Obamacare cuts Medicare and Medicaid. Cut to scene of Democrat candidate (from dog catcher to Senator) does not want to stop this. Cut to scene of Republican candidate wants America to be strong and save Medicare/Medicaid. 2014, game, set and match.

Yes, everything you said. They lied, they knew it, and they’re going to play the “we got tricked” game to save their seats. The worst part of if is...it doesn’t matter. Progressives vote dem no matter what, unions mostly go dem no matter what, and you can’t talk any sense into the uneducated masses. Add voter fraud and they’ve got little to worry about.

I plan to keep fighting, but honestly I think it’s just about hopeless at this point.

“I hope there is no way they can escape their responsibility for this mess.”

With the GOPe and the medias help they will just blame it on
the conservatives just like they blame Americas existence
for the failures of communism.

“I hope there is no way they can escape their responsibility for this mess.”

It will not be a national story. Individuals affected won’t know that it’s a systemic failure caused by Democrats. While Republicans could be hammering this point, they are busy trying to figure out how to make amnesty happen. And attacking the Tea Party.

Damn right they are. And the worst part of this is they will get away with it.

EVEN THOUGH REPUBLICANS AND TEA PARTIERS WERE HAMMERING OBAMA FOR CUTTING MEDICARE TO PAY FOR OBAMACARE----DEMOCRATS WERE "NOT TOLD" OBAMA'S WONDERFUL HEALTHCARE WOULD DECIMATE MEDICARE.

(Sniffle) sap-happy Dems never figured the snarky Obama/Care proviso to cut $780 million out of Medicare woukld actually h-u-r-t anybody (sob).

DEMOCRATS FACE THE MUSIC In 2009, Senator Kay Hagan (D-NC) promised North Carolinians who depend on Medicare that she was going to “protect Medicare” and that they would “not see a drop in their Medicare coverage.”
But in 2010 Kay Hagan voted to slash Medicare Advantage to pay for ObamaCare. (H.R. 4872, CQ Vote #72: Motion agreed to 56-42: R 0-40; D 54-2; I 2-0, 3/24/10, Hagan Voted Yea)

SIGNING "THE BIG EFFIN' DEAL" (now known as "The Big Effin' Debacle")

"Those Democrats leering over my shoulder owe me bigtime.
The healthcare bill insures we get a permanent Democratic majority."

" All except those Tea Party types, swallowed hook, line and sinker my promises that they could:

(1) keep their existing health plans,
(2) keep their own doctors that they like,
(3) keep their 25-year-olds on the family health plan,
(4) never be denied coverage for a pre-existing condition,
(5) sign up instantly on my tech-savvy government Web site,
(6) buy insurance only after becoming seriously ill."
(7) save $2,500 in annual premiums in the bargain....
(8) All without any new taxes."

"Them sonovagun Tea Partiers will rue the day they criticized my wonderful bill."

Sadly, our media are corrupt and politicized, an event never imagined by the Founders. I'm sure they'll find a way to blame Republicans for those lies.

That was something every conservative knew before the law passed. One of the hundreds of reasons people protested the law.
