The company I work at has fired thousands due to obamacare. They hire “temp” workers now and cut back others to the 29/hrs.
I remember one group of 8 in a nearby office that were let go just 2 weeks after the last election. One of them had an obama bumper sticker on his car....

That is all my last internist worked, his NPA saw most of his patients. I ditched him when we moved just 22 miles out of the liberal county we were in. He was also making to many script errors, 1 that could have been lethal to hubby if I had not caught it in time. Down side is there are no Internist in the area, just GP and PED. As seniors we don’t want that kind of medical offices, to many germs and virus from kids dragged home from their schools, a lot like those cruise ship episodes.

So we found one just 60 mins round trip instead of the 180 mins. Took a lot of phone calls to find 1 that would take our RATIONED Medicare/Tricare Life (retired Military over 65) Not sure I like this one either, he is BILL PADDING, running test our Specialist run, and what he knows of thyroid diseases would fit in a thimble, compared to my ENDO’s training. Only found out he was running them is the last panel came back high, and boy he was right there demanding a expensive Radioactive felt my Thyroid, does not know what meds effect the uptake of Syntrhoid or supplements. My ENDO would as he ask questions, this guy does not. We don’t need T panels, chest xrays or EKG’s run every 3 months. Hubby has a Cardio because he has had some BP spikes, we are a smoke free environment, no lung cancer genes on either side. And I have no lung or cardio issues.

I just asked myself the same questions my ENDO ask me, what new med or supplement are you taking. Bingo, 1 new drug, Levsin S/L when plugged into Google with Thyroid added brought up pages warning that it could cause a uptick in a T panel. Took me 1 minute. Then he writes a script for NARCO which the print out material from Pharmacy says DO NOT GIVE TO THYROID PATIENTS! This is the drug that is supposed to replace the higher dose Tylenol containing Lore Tabs for pain. LOT MORE SIDE EFFECTS TOO. Duh how stupid are you, that you do not know what health issues your patient has or what drugs can effect the meds they are on.

I swear I am better informed than they are, cause I look every one up! Some are extremely dangerous like Lyrica, 50% failure rate due to horrid side effects, yet FDA won’t yank it and are expanding this Epilepsy drug to Fibromyalgia and Peripheral Neuopathy patients. In fact FAILURE rates should be included on all meds even OTC as many were once RX only.

AND THERE IS NO HUMAN AT THE FDA BAD DRUG HOT LINE, just a junk computer even a case worker from a US REP’s office could not find one on and the directory did not have the right button to mash for the cause of the call to report the super flu drug side effects they were giving seniors last year and this year. Effected mainly senior women.
