ORLANDO, Fla. — U.S. Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius said not enough of central Floridians are signed up for health care, and she's blaming state lawmakers.

A YouTube video featuring Orlando resident Ali Kurnaz is part of the latest push to get uninsured Floridians to sign up for affordable health care.

"I'm glad I can share my story about the Affordable Care Act," Kurnaz said at a news conference Monday. "I've benefitted a lot from it. My whole family has."

But despite the outcome for Kurnaz, Sebelius said there's a lot of work to do in Florida, where 3.5 million people are still uninsured.

Channel 9 asked her to compare our state to others that, unlike Florida, created their own insurance exchanges.

Central Florida knows Obamacare sucks to the max and we don't intend to be forced to purchase it, Sebelius, so stop blaming the Florida legislature and prepare for a whole lot of Democrats to lose in the mid term election.

Since when it is the responsibility of local lawmakers to sell the Sebelius’ sh*t sandwich?

Isn't that the truth. She wanted it, it's her job to lie and use coercion to get people to sign up.

Signing up for anything is easy. It's the paying for it's up front and ongoing costs that an enemployed and underemployed public has a hard time with.

Heck, I signed my dog up for Armed Forces solicitations in 1982. I kept getting junk mail for him until 1995. I didn't have the heart to tell the navy or the life isurance sales flyers that my dog passed away in 1990.

Liberals, like the Marxist/communist/fascist forebears, need an enemy to identify to their minions, something to focus the Two minute Hate on.

Maybe those "3.5 million" can't afford obammycare....

Orlando is a tough sell. The area has distinct communities and languages drawn from countries around the world. Dining, retail, tourism, and construction offer a large pool of part time and off the books jobs, and many residents have dodgy immigration status that makes them unwilling to sign up for anything, even a library card. Ten years from now, the Orlando area will still have a large pool of people without health insurance.

I knew it! I FREAKING knew it! It just never amazes me. There’s always a backstory behind the “unknown” that the Dems mysteriously find.
