But executives with the Calgary-based energy shipper say they're confident a green light will come in time to expand the line to 800,000 barrels per day by the middle of next year. Enbridge is happy-talking. This alone is a good reason to take up a "short" position on their stock. They're either ignorant or lying through their teeth to the investors. Sell.

If they want the project approved they have to pay off the proper politicians and bureaucrats.
Do they think American politicians spend tens of millions and hundreds of millions dollars to get elected so they can collect a measly few hundred thousand in salary?
