Upstate New York and thereabouts is generally considered the largest continuously forested area east of the Mississippi. I’ve always been amazed by that.
I’m a Zonie now and for coming up on 20 years. But I was raised in the Adirondacks. One of the most beautiful places on earth. When it ain’t raining or ‘mud season” ;)
The people are or were largely conservative and despise the edicts of Albany and NYC. Because NYC runs Albany. But many STILL vote Democrat because their forefathers did in perpetuity.
They will curse the libs to death. Then go vote for them because grandpa always did...Not all the folks there. But MANY.
