I once asked one of the UAW folks I unfortunately had to work with every day “why do you guys who make over 100 grand a year support Democrats who take half your money in taxes?”.

The reply was “without Democrats I’d make minimum wage”
The unions do a fine job of brainwashing of their members.
I’m long retired now, but wonder in the age of the internet if any of the members are more curious?
