This is much like shooting fish in a barrel. Even small town police departments are able to get several serious felony busts a year just by trolling the Internet for pervs.
But it raises an interesting possibility.
Why not troll for Muslim terrorists the same way?
While considerably more deadly, even a secret undertaking, a rural town could set up an irresistible trap for such murderers, in such a way that they would have to cross several obstacles and checkpoints to reach it, only to be walking into an ambush, where all their weapons and explosives, even a car bomb, would avail them not.
And then they would just disappear. And our nation, and the world as a whole, would be better for their absence. Likewise their sentence would be without appeal or friends in the White House, even if they were from an influential Saudi family.
It would all begin with a rumor on the Internet, something like George W. Bush, Benjamin Netanyahu, Salman Rushdie and Hirsh Ali all meeting for a long weekend in a cabin in the woods, without any bodyguards or other security.
Because When you entrap a perv for trying to have sex with a seventeen year old it’s Justice. When you entrap a terrorist for trying to kill thousands of Americans it’s Entrapment.
