Do vaccines protect you or not? If they do this a non-story. If they don’t then why get them?
Vaccines protect most, but not all, people who receive them. That is because each person has a unique immune system that responds differentially to vaccines. Some people receive partial protection from vaccination, meaning that they might still develop the disease but it won't be as serious as it would be without the vaccine. Even partial protection can mean the difference between life and death. A few people simply do not respond to vaccines. For their protection, vaccination is recommended for everyone (unless medically contraindicated).
