There is no right to get married. If there is, will the courts order a person to marry some other person who wants to exercise his/her "right"?
What next? Will the degenerates want to push marrying their dog, cat or goat?
What they want is the right to redefine marriage.
Scouts Out! Cavalry Ho!
Regarding PC terms like "human rights" which pro-gay activist justices and judges don't want low-information citizens to find out are not in the Constitution, the states have never amended the Constitution to expressly protect so-called gay rights. So in order to work gay rights within the framework of the Constitution, supporters need to do the following.
They need to work with their state and federal lawmakers to propose a gay rights amendment to the Constitution to the states for ratification. And if the states should choose to ratify such an amendment, and I don't believe that they can get the required Article V state supermajority support in the foreseeable future, then gay rights will be an enumerated constitutional right and they will be heroes.
